Racial Harmony Day Essay-writing competition
Each house to submit 10 essays in a variety of languages – either English, Chinese, Malay or Tamil, each in 200 words according to the theme: “Many Faces, One Singapore”. Entry can be in the form of an essay, short story etc. Essay is allowed to be accompanied by one graphic.
Writers please send your essay to laura by tomorrow!

Footsteps to Freedom
FtF is a shoe-designing contest organized by the NDC Committee. Each class with be given a SHOE to design according to this year's theme of "Working Magic".
Suggestions from HAT - "Experiment with the laces, the tongue of the shoe, have add-ons and pop up items (not to the point of irrationality though) and stay away from sensitive things like mas selamat and WW2."

Do discuss about the design when you're free!

Class flag
Each class will be given a piece of red cloth (1x1.5m) which they are supposed to design and paint a flag. This flag will represent their class at every house event. It's not due yet, and while we will most likely (or definitely) rely on the AEP to draw everything, we can give suggestions & ideas for the flag design. Also need painters! [: Not urgent, so think about the shoe first!
